Bring the ruby, diamond and gold jewel to the shared top marker. The trick is that no ring turns alone.
The illustration shows the destination: all three jewels at the top. In a new game, the rings begin out of alignment.
Press any clockwise-arrow button to advance its connected pair of rings. The status next to each control shows a numbered stop or “Aligned at the top”. Colour is not the only clue.
The move counter is just a record of your current attempt. There is no time limit, score-based payment or reward to redeem.
Put the connection into practiceThe outer control advances both the outer ruby and the middle diamond by one stop.
The middle control advances the diamond and the inner gold jewel together.
The inner control advances the gold jewel and brings the ruby along with it.
Undo restores the exact positions before the previous turn and adjusts the turn counter. It can also reopen a seal you just solved.
The hint control finds a valid route from the current reachable arrangement. It tells you the next ring to turn and how many turns that route uses. It does not turn the ring for you.
Reset this seal returns to the start of the same arrangement. New arrangement constructs a fresh solvable setup by making legal turns from an aligned seal.
Tap or click any of the three arrow buttons. Keyboard users can Tab to a control and activate it with Enter or Space. Ring positions are described in text as well as shown visually.
A new arrangement is made using the same legal controls available to you. Eight turns of a linked pair bring it back to its original position, so those setup moves can always be reversed using further clockwise turns.
Progress and Undo history remain in the current page only. Reloading creates a fresh arrangement.
